2026 Job Description:
Pomykala Farm is a family owned and operated farm in Grand Isle, Vermont. We grow vegetables, fruit, cut flowers and culinary herbs on 70 acres, and sell direct to the public at farmers markets and at a farm stand. We also deliver our own wholesale produce to local restaurants, caterers, institutions and co-ops.
- Hourly wage rate is $19 per hour.

- Farm work experience welcomed but not required. We will train you.

- Work is typically available April - November, with July - October being the busiest time.
- Full Time work day is 7AM - 4PM with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
- There is a paid coffee break around 9:30AM each day.
- We work inside and outside, in all weather conditions.
- Bringing mud boots and rainwear to work is strongly recommended. There is also some used gear you can borrow on the farm. 
- Sometimes a late afternoon/evening shift is available a few days a week. 
- The work on the farm is physically demanding and changes frequently: seeding, transplanting, weeding, mowing, string trimming, harvesting, washing & packing, loading trucks, helping customers.
- Year-round employment is possible for an employee who has equipment, maintenance and repair experience.
